They make payments so smooth and secure that more than 70,000 online stores are partnered with them, and over 60 million consumers worldwide have trusted them to handle their payments (including yours truly) securely.

How does Pay later work?
Here’s an overview for those who don’t like to read:
Step 1: Add products to your cart and select “Klarna” when you check out
Step 2: Enter a few personal details, and you’ll know instantly if you’re approved
Step 3: Klarna will send you an email confirmation and reminders when it’s time to pay

One of the things I love about Klarna is how simple it is. Here’s how it works - you’re shopping on Lava Art and boom! You find your perfect match and add it to cart. At checkout, select Pay later with Klarna, and once approved, you don’t even have to create an account with Klarna or leave our site. Within two days, you’ll get an email from Klarna with all the details of the payment instructions.
Essentially, in the email, they’ll let you know that you’ll have 30 days to complete the payment online at your convenience with no additional costs via your credit or debit card.
Worried you might forget? Don’t worry, just like your friend who’ll remind you about the money you owed her for last week’s dinner - Klarna will send you a reminder two days before your payment is due.

What countries are Klarna payments accepted in?
Klarna payment is accepted in UK, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark.

What are the requirements to pay with Klarna?
To be eligible to pay with Klarna, applicants will need:
- To be 18 years of age or older
- A debit or credit card
- A billing address
- An SMS-capable phone number
What payment methods are accepted?
Klarna currently accepts all major debit and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover)
Will a credit search take place against me?
No – neither Klarna nor Lava Art will run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. Klarna may run inquiries. However, these won’t affect your credit scoring.
Why have I not been offered Pay later?
This could be due to several factors like your order amount, the online store, previous history orders, and item availability.
Why have I been asked to go to Klarna’s site?
If you opt for the Pay later method, Klarna will email you further payment details. That email will contain a link for you to settle your payments via credit or debit card with Klarna.

Is my payment information safe?
Everything is processed safely by Klarna, so no critical information is transferred or handled by Lava Art. All your transactions are done securely with the latest industry-standard security protocols.
Can I pay before the due date?
Once you receive an email from Klarna with your payment details, you can pay for your order at any point so long as you follow the instructions in the email.
If you pay by card, Lava Art will confirm your order right away but, if you’re paying by Pay later with Klarna, you’ll receive a payment confirmation email.
Paid but haven’t received the confirmation email? Head over to www.klarna.com and check the status of your order.
I've received a statement, but I've not yet received my goods.
You have 14 or 30 days to pay, so you don’t need to pay right away. If your due date is near and there is no sign of your goods, please contact Lava Art at support@lavaart.com to check on delivery. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service so that we can postpone the due date on your payment.
How do I cancel or return my products?
Once you’ve subscribed, you may cancel your subscription for the first delivery without reason within 30 days from when you signed up for the subscription and your order is sent. Please make sure to not open your product or break the seal - this can void your returns (but don’t worry, your subscription will be stopped anyway).
To cancel or return your product, please reach out to Lava Art via email and once both parties are in agreement, Lava Art will return all actual costs that have been charged back to you.
Do note that you’ll have to pay for the shipping costs and will be responsible for loss or damage of the said product.
I haven’t received an email with my statement/payment information.
If you do not have your statement number to hand you can log in to your Klarna MyPage where you will find all of your orders and be able to make payments.
